I remember when I first started playing Dungeons & Dragons back in the 80s, something strange happened. Somewhere between rolling my first d20 and obsessing over those epic cover illustrations, I developed a completely sincere desire to wear a cape. And honestly? It wasn't just about the aesthetic (although let's be real - it was a little about the aesthetic). No, capes actually make sense.

They keep you warm when it's cold, dry when it's raining, and if you get too hot? Just fling it back dramatically and boom - instant temperature control. And don't even get me started on wizard hats. Wide brim? Instant sun protection. Walking staff? Built-in cane, spellcasting focus, AND fashion statement.
